Simply super tasty, Japanese tapas and soups that are really delicious. The restaurant is very stylish but simple, to feel good!
Very nice service and good food ??
Very tasty mushroom ramen! For me, the Buya is always a good address for Asian food in Potsdam. The service could be a bit quicker, but the food is great.
Very friendly team, great cocktails, good Japanese tapas, and craft beer. Very good address in Potsdam
Food is delicious, cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Totally recommended !!
Unfortunately, very disappointing. Service super slow, doesn't understand half of them and therefore orders are simply forgotten. I picked up my ordered beer from the counter after 15 minutes, there was no excuse, just a mischievous laugh. The soups took more than 30 minutes to arrive. In between no one came to the table to ask for drinks again. We were told when the bill came that no card payment was possible. Service quality super disappointing and just doesn't do justice to the high prices. We were happy to finally have found a ramen restaurant in Potsdam. Unfortunately we are so disappointed that we prefer to go to Berlin again. :-(
I visited the restaurant yesterday and it was amazing.i ordered the crispy duck ramen which was the highlight dish of the night and one of the best i have eaten.we also took the goza vegi and the mizuna salad which were very tasty too.Friendly environment and staffand i really liked they were speaking English cause we don't German???
If you are looking for good food that is something different, then you can still find it in the beautiful Dutch Quarter, in a good atmosphere and with friendly service, then you have come to the right place. The izakaya (Japanese tapas) and ramen (Japanese noodle soups) are just delicious. The service, open and friendly, always tries to give you a good recommendation, quickly and competently. I'm still grateful for the sake fizz that I would never have tried alone. Simply good. I just have to break away from my beloved Rosè;) It doesn't work without Edamame and the Soft Shell Crab Buns are incredibly good. I will eat here more often!
We were disappointed with the food, obviously flavor enhancers were used. The seaweed salad was made mainly from cucumber and radish and to charge 7 euros for it is very questionable. No recommendation for a next time.
I came with a group of friends, it was very busy, we all enjoyed the ramen (duck was best) and our favorite cocktail was the sake fizz. All in all a great evening.
Staff overwhelmed on Saturday evening despite the very manageable menu. Long waiting times. Cocktail glass small and filled to the brim with ice cubes. Staff only spoke English and communication was difficult. Starter wasn't particularly exciting, fried chicken with "aioli". Ramen soup was ok. Perhaps our expectations were higher.
Taste was ok, but not overwhelming. Service was bad.
Simply perfect! The cocktails are wonderful, superb, delicious!!! We had Tokyo Garden, pandan fashion and we loved them. Will come back for sure.
Buya + Izakaya Ramen is a nice Japanese restaurant, located in the center of the Dutch Quarter. The restaurant serves good and tasty Japanese cuisine in a fun atmosphere. The staff is friendly, cheerful and helpful. The quality of the food is good. Compared to the Netherlands, you pay a slightly above-average price for it. However, this is more than worth it!
Great staff, they were able to help us with a lot of expertise on our question about sake. Competent advice was also given when advising the right drink (cocktail). Simply great. The food was delicious. The map is very well put together. I will come back with pleasure.
Zero hygiene concept. At my request, at least to wear a mask or a face shield, the waitress knowingly instructs you that you don't have to. It is good that I have a mask, then at least I can't put it on (!) Check it out. No go, stay away from there. She refused. Also if you have visited the student cellar before. That doesn't work at all nowadays, very unprofessional overall. In addition, it was very uncleaned, the floor full of dirt as soon as it opened at 12:00, chairs stacked in the hallway, the table sticky ... The menu is printed so small that you need a magnifying glass. So I don't go there anymore.
Menu is selective, ingredients are good quality. Good place to sit on a beautiful Potsdam night. Service is maximising efforts to satisfy each and every customer one by one. Definitely coming back for that japanese ice cream.
The menu is well created and there are good drinks! It is a lovely place and service was so good, they are so kind!
The service is OK, but we waited an hour for our food. Only after the third note during payment was there an apology. The ramen are a bitter disappointment. It tastes loveless and the quality of the ramen is poor and not justified for the price. The dumplings are very expensive as a main course and, given the amount, are more of a starter. I cannot give a recommendation.
super drinks.
We were welcomed very quickly and shown to our table. The waiters were very friendly, not intrusive but attentive and friendly. The food (ramen?) was very good, the waiting time was not too long and we will definitely eat there again ?
More trendy than tasty. The ramen was just off, and was very overpriced. Long wait as well. The service was nice and helpful, though.
A Fantastic experience: First of all, the restaurant is located in a very nice area in Potsdam. I was there with a group of friends last Saturday. We almost ordered all the appetisers but among all, one was with crab and it tasted crazy good. As for the Ramens, I ordered the duck and it had a SUPER rich taste. We also had nice cocktails there and they seem to have a professional bar tender because they made a VERY good espresso Martini. Although they seemed to be understaff (Perhaps due to Corona), WE as a group were treated equally as other tables and never felt outcast. All in all, it was a great experience and I highly recommend it!
Attentive service, very friendly :) We found the taste good. However, the pasta could be better. We will be back
Nice service, good ramen noodles and nice atmosphere, a little too loud music. Satisfied.
Very disappointing in my case. The ramen didn't taste good at all and was far too expensive. But the reason why I am writing it here at all is the almost one hour wait ?! The waiters are nice but the service could be improved. Just like the loose menu with grease stains.

Ambience is great, the music is a matter of taste -I liked it. Unfortunately only partially authentic ramen. Meat inlay was very low, ramen tasted great. Drinks and food too expensive for the equivalent.
Love the food (the appetizers are the BEST) and cozyness of this restaurant! We will definitely be back.
This was just a terrible experience, and would describe this place as a tourist trap. Because I usually don't do 1 or 2 star reviews, let me give a bit of context to the why of my bad rating: - The ramen is not ramen. It tastes like a weak chicken soup. Not even comparable to some actual Ramen restaurants in Berlin. - Too limited options on the menu (2 Ramens) compared to the menu online, but let's forget about this because this may have been influenced by COVID situation. - The service was OK, but understaffed. We had to wait 29 minutes on the appetizer. The Ramen came out 15 minutes after that. - To top things off, the bill was 36, and we gave 40. Out of principle we didn't want to tip because of the terrible experience, but the waiter just nodded and said "OK" and just took off with our money. Of course I never blame the guys and girls working hard, but this felt a bit unfair. All in all, keep walking until you find something different.
I've waitered for a long time myself and have sympathy for understaffed times, but always make sure you serve all tables equally.
Tasty food and friendly service. Enjoyed the experience and highly recommended
Porky pork pork, savor as a dork.
What a great restaurant!! The ramen and especially the Goyzas are totally delicious and the whole experience is absolutely authentic! Never had such japanese food outside Tokyo! Thumbs up!
Ramen is very good. Unfortunately I couldn't try all the sake offers because I was a driver. Service is very friendly and courteous. Price very good. Would love to come back
Very nice
Great, consistently tasty ramen in amazing and cozy environment.
Was ok but it could be better. Oily dry meat and tepid food.
Delicious ramen and lovely staff.
special concept, nice service, high quality: do not expect japanese or corean ramen. here you can enjoy the own concept of an awesome cooking team. Service is great & quality is very high.
The place is really nice and the food is delicious. I recommend it.
Very nice location and super friendly staff first of all! We didn’t have any cocktails so I can’t judge that but the starters we had were good. The edamame as well as the pork buns were amazing! The broccolini were a little bitter for my personal taste and the pork gyoza a bit too raw, but that’s probably just me. We had the chicken ramen, pork belly ramen and duck ramen. All of them were honestly a little salty and the flavors weren’t very balanced. The meat in all of them was fantastic though. I was sad they didn’t have TanTan ramen, maybe they can consider putting that on the menu too. The mochi ice cream desserts were super good and a must-have! :)
Very nice staff, great food.
Nice atmosphere, friendly service. The starters were excellent, the ramen should have been a bit more intense in taste. A star deduction for the long wait.
I've been to Buya with my girlfriend at lunch on saturday, the restaurant was really crowded but the staff was super fast and nice at serving us. I appreciated the precise description of the waiter of the sakè menù giving us suggestion on the the pairing with the food. We had some mix izakaya to share that were absolutely delicious (the bao was melted butter in mouth!) and a ramen duck. I definitely recommend the place, food and beverages (try sparkling sakè!) are great, and the staff is young and helpful to explain you whatever you need.
the best ramen I've tried in Postdam (and Berlin too!). Absolutely a must try the slow-cook pork belly.
I would say the best Ramen in Potsdam ?
We went for a late lunch on tursday. They were very welcoming beside the hour. The appetizer were just GREAT! The ramen were super good as well. Ask for the pairing with sake, they have some very interesting. The bill was fair for the quality and the service. Difficult to find better on winter!
Fantastic place! finally a great place to eat Ramen in Potsdam. I love the ambience and design, and the plates are super tasty
The restaurant is very cosy and brings you a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is smiling, ready to help and advice whenever you need. I got a duck ramen, the broth was well balanced and the taste was great! The cocktail menu is just super, the drinks are creative and different from the same boring drinks you can find everywhere else. Well done!
